Your access to, use of, placing of an order, linking to the Site, use of software or downloading software on the Site is conditional upon your acceptance and compliance with the terms, conditions, notices and disclaimers contained on this page and elsewhere on the site. Before placing your order, please inform the restaurant in the comments box if you suffer from any allergy or intolerance. It is your responsibility to provide this information to the restaurant. Notwithstanding this, The FoodHouse does not guarantee that your food or other products are free from allergens and accepts no liability irrespective of whether you have informed us or the restaurant or not.
If you think you may have a food allergen or intolerance we recommend you seek medical advice. More information can be found on the NHS website.
Payment can be made with cash or card and where possible please have the correct change ready for your restaurant driver, payment must be in £ sterling. Please make sure you allow your card payment to complete to make sure we receive your order and it is sent to the restaurant. Please do not click the payment button more than once otherwise you may be charged more than once. By making a card payment you agree to us processing your card details via our partner bank. Fraud prevention policies are in place and your card detail may be verified against fraud protection databases.
Please make sure if the delivery address and card billing address are different, you enter the card billing address in the correct location on the checkout page.
IMPORTANT – Payments submitted with incorrect billing address may be reserve funds in your bank account for a few days, before being released back into your account.
The FoodHouse does not accept any liability where you have entered the wrong address for payment. Funds are normally released automatically by your bank after 2-3 working days. However each bank has their own terms, please contact your own bank for more information.
Cash refunds are provided by the restaurant directly. Please contact the partner restaurant directly if you wish to request this. If a card refund is processed this can take 3-5 working days to reach your bank.
If you make a payment via a debit/credit card then choose to cancel your order. Please note refunds can take 5-10 working days to process, even if you contact us immediately after placing your order to cancel. This processing time is beyond our control, we apologise the inconvenience caused.
Ordering & Cancellation of orders
Your Order Confirmation email is a record of our agreement to deliver the products ordered and paid for in full. If someone else made the Booking on your behalf, you agree that such person acted as your agent. Once your order has been confirmed it cannot be amended or cancelled without cancelling the restaurant directly.
If you have made a request for an item to be customised in any way (other than on the menu as advertised) you do not have any right to cancel this item in your order once it has been placed.
Upon submitting your order details, you are making an offer to us to purchase the item(s) you have specified in your order form. We reserve the right to refuse your order should it be necessary.
Your should be aware in most cases the food product quality can deteriorate rapidly and therefore The FoodHouse cannot guarantee any food delivered by the partner restaurant.
All food orders are the responsibility of the restaurant partner taking the order. The FoodHouse cannot be held responsible for any delay in delivering your order. Please contact the restaurant directly should you have any questions about your order.
Some restaurants offer discounts or promotions on their page. This may be different across our restaurant partners so please read the promotions carefully on their own ordering page.
Your order is subject to availability in the restaurant you have placed your order with and maybe subject to change at anytime. In most cases, your local restaurant partner may offer an alternative for any out-of-stock item. Although every care is taken, some products may contain nuts or bones. Although great care may have been taken to remove all bones from chicken and ham, some may remain. The FoodHouse cannot accept responsibility for any bones left in any products or the quality of the product provided.
Please contact the restaurant directly in the first instance should you have any complaint regarding the quality of the food.
Alcohol and Cigarettes
Pursuant to the Licensing Act 1964, it is an offence for any person under the age of 18 to buy, or attempt to buy, intoxicating liquor, or for any person over the age of 18 to buy intoxicating liquor on behalf of any person under the age of 18. Cigarettes are not for sale to minors under the age of 16. Orders containing either alcohol or cigarettes can therefore not be accepted from minors.
Our goal is to provide the best delivery service in the market from our partner restaurants, which includes an excellent reputation for on-time delivery. Unfortunately, things don’t always go to plan and factors, such as, weather, staff illness and traffic occasionally prevents us from achieving this. Please allow extra time in bad weather and busy restaurant periods for any delays. Should you have any concerns about the length of time it is taken for your order to be delivered, please contact the restaurant directly.
Any feedback you leave will be visible to others. You agree that the name you have used when registering will be used when leaving feedback. If you would like to leave feedback but would like your surname removed from the feedback screen please email firstname.lastname@example.org and request this. Please include your email address you have used to register on our system. Please be aware the The FoodHouse reserves the right to remove any offensive feedback or inappropriate feedback.
